Note - Leehom could easily stay in his comfort zone and write/compose songs to be KTV hits because he knows how to make songs to please general public (catchy songs and emotional ballads), but the fact that he decided to try the most unique route says a lot about how Leehom loves to experiment with different sounds and styles. I know that among Leehom's fans there are mixed reviews regarding this song, but even if you don't like this song, at least you'll admit that the punk+tradicional chinese music blend is definetely unique. And I'm sure that like me, as a fan of Leehom you're glad that Leehom is the type of artist that truly love music and is open to try all different styles of music.

Ah! this MV is DVDRip quality, no TV Logos (Yey!)! Soon I'll be releasing the other MVs of Leehom's 'Heart.Beat' album subbed.

Note - This is a great song! The plot of the Music Video is very cool too. The MV features Vanness Wu who I think most people know from watching 'Meteor Garden' (and other tv dramas) and also because of his music career together with famous taiwanese boy-band F4, as part of a duo with KangTa and his solo career. I like Vanness a lot so it's nice to see him in Leehom's music video.

This music video was very hard to sub because the song have so many lines that are sung at the same time of others lines. So typesetting this was a big challenge.

LeeHom's new album 'Heartbeat' is very good. He already had an album with rock ballads ('Wei Yi'), but on 'Heart.beat' Leehom experiments with rock in a different way. While in 'Wei Yi' the ballad style was stronger, on this album the rock style is stronger. On 'Heart.beat' you'll find rock ballads (with beautiful guitar solos like in the title-song of this album, 'Heartbeat') and rock songs with a chinese feel (like in 'What's Up, rock?!').

Remember Leehom's 'Chinken-Out' style that he mixed hip-hop and pop with chinese traditional instruments and style? Well, on 'Heart.beat' Leehom mixed rock style (guitar, bass & drums) with traditional chinese instruments and style resulting in a unique sound! :)

Anyway, about the song of this MV, 'Heartbeat', it's a beautiful rock ballad. The MV is very nice looking too with yellow and orange lighting. :)

I love Se7en and the color orange, but unfortunelly the previous layout was looking very messy on firefox. Besides that it was in XML (Blogger's New Code) and I confess I know nothing about this type of coding.

New Year is coming... why not change the layout, right? So here's a new layout! The main HTML code was created by .fourth!Romance. I made some little changes on the HTML and made a banner for this blog.

Note - I love this song and this MV. It's probably one of my favs so I subbed it again. I fixed the timing and improved the typeset.

The lyrics and the story of this MV seems to be based on the book called 'Lost Horizon' by James Hilton that tells the story of some people that get lost and end up going to a mythical place called Shangri-La whose inhabitants enjoy unheard-of longevity. Hugh Conway, one of the guys that get lost, meet Lo-Tsen in Shangri-La and falls in love with her.

On the book, Conway leaves Shangri-La with the other people that got lost with him. Another guy that was also in love with Lo-Tsen, takes her with them. But once she puts her feet out of Shangri-La, she loose her eternity and in a few seconds her body ages fast and she dies.

I think in the MV, LeeHom plays the role of Conway and Tiffany Xu plays the role of Lo-Tsen. But in the MV and also based on the lyrics, Leehom's character is the type of guy that has a free-spirit. So he leaves Shangri-La even being in love with her. She can't go with him because she can't leave Shangri-La or else she'll die.
